and Happy New Year everyone. Let’s hope it will be a good one!

More last year’s news than anything… and not to brag, well maybe a little, ahem, but my little, self-absorbed Narcissus above won the jury prize at our local end of year art show Art en Fête here in Montrouge (which is almost Paris in case you’re wondering). They thankfully called ahead of time for the vernissage asking if I’d intend to come, implying I should. I would have missed my moment of glory otherwise. I’m very grateful for this unexpected end of year present. Many thanks to the city of Montrouge and its art and culture team for organizing this event every year.

More next month’s news than anything… I had the chance to curate a collage exhibition right after my own, a great opportunity to bring together some of my favourite French collage artists. Coupé Collé will be on display until March 2, 2023. The artists on show are: Alain Zenatti, Sylvain Solaro, Emily Geirnaert, Isabelle Milkoff, Laurence Briat, Corentin Sauvage, Andrei Cojocaru and Gerard Devos. Please come and say hi.
